My TD4 has died

Have checked the swith that seemed ok,if the relay is the one in the engine compartment on the right hand side next to fuses I swapped it with the one next to it but no difference
do ma vibration check if that works then ya lokkin at a=filter b= rear pump ,ope this elps ya earthling. . . .:)

Hello lads,cant feel any vibration on the pump,swapped the relays around again and checked fuses,disconnected pump under back seat put voltage tester on it and not gettin any power to it.AAAARRRGG:confused:
 
OK!

So if the relays closing ,I think that means it should be gettin a supply thro the inertia switch and the ecu grounds it to make it work.;)

Then it should be straight thro to the pump ????:confused:

So it could be the relay contacts not closing propper or an open circuit wire to the fuel pump :eek:

See if yer gettin a supply out of the relay on terminal 30 . if you are then yer should get one at the pumps. Oh dose the front pump work ?? cos there off the same feed i think, if it dose then the wire to the rear pump must be buggered

mondy is correct in his nostics. . .this is the logic if you turn on ing key to glow plugs on [no starter motor] then rear pmp un front pmp should run via the the pmp relay. . . .they should run fer bout 12secs ,till the fuel presure regulator says, stop ive reached my max pressure , so when engine is running , un pressure drops er tad, both pmps run again, this function is via the ecm. . . .ok ,so ya got no volts at rear pmp ,go back to relay un like mondo says check 30 ont relay [12volts +] un -ve lead to earth, now if you dunt git this . . . .let us know, un we will go deeper fer ya. . . .:)
