found it now. If anyone else is looking you need to hover over your user name in the top right corner, when the drop down link appears click on YOUR CONTENT.

No that's not the same.
Before it would show the thread you posted in, but show other responses after yours. It would be bold to indicate a newer post.
That was probably the main thing i used

Cheers Accy, the posts one would be a lot more useful if the search was restricted to threads, it would then behave exactly like my replies.
Eg, like an advanced search set to 'thread and posts'. own username, sorted by most recent, and 'display results as threads' ticked. Would just save a bit more clicking about.

say we had 10 threads we recently posted on.
it would show the recent threads sorted by time, but it was also show the last person to post on that thread and it would be bold if it is a new reply.
it meant you could quickly look and see if anyone has responded.
something like that would make it easier for me
