What have you got powering the speakers and sub? Are there any speakers up front anywhere? I'm planning my "install" at the moment - I can see why you've gone for the "divider", but at some point I'll have rear seats that the kids can use so doubt I'll be allowed to box them in back there! :D

Ian.

The sub started out in life as a Yamaha AC sub and amplifier unit, so ive got a DC/AC converter wired into the passenger seat box and the original sub plug lead wired into the back of that so it still works as a plug too, then the amp is next to the sub (hidden behind) and all the inputs run from the radio, to there, out and to the sub, two speakers behind the headrests (need to be changed, there a bit dodgy) and two speakers in the normal spot (next size up from standard) Result=stereo so loud it makes the light inside the cab dim as the song gets 'bass'y, and makes the roof vibrate :D

Been there and done that.... Had 2 x 1000w Subs in my kit car with 4x500w mids and some tweeters... Was loud as hell lucky for me it was fiberglass as there would be little rust holding it together if not.

Got a CD player in my 300tdi Disco which gets used once a blue moon, Not sure what is in the V8 as I have never had it on as the engine is music to my ears.

And not put the 200tdi Defender one on yet either (Well to test it worked when I got it!) spend most of the time listening for the next job to fix! or where needs work to stop rattles or squeeks.

Have the system in a box waiting to be fitted to something but its a little like LPG... I got the disco as it is 7 seater, to fit either a system or LPG just cuts into this space!

Not just that I try to keep under the radar of the local TWOCKERS! and spinning by with 3k watts pumping out Britney Spears aint going to keep the car on my drive too long!
