my p38 aghh

hi i have been a member for a while now and this is my first time posting anything.My name is John and i live in bedfordshire. I used to have a land rover 90 i loved it but my wife and kids did not. Wrong vehicle or wrong family?. Any how i gave up the 90 and got the p38, lovely car very comfortable ,not quite the same though. I have a question my key has stopped communicating with the immobilizer and i am thinking of convincing my wife to buy me a lynx one car diagnostic kit. has anyone got one or used one and if so are they worth having .i would appreciate your opinion. many Thanks John
