Well I have found another one to play with, a 1969 series 2. It hasn't been on the road for 10 years, so who knows what I will find when I get it home.
Photos to follow.
I hope to get her home tomorrow if everything goes to plan. Its a chance to give the 90 a clear out :)

Today was the first time since Ive had it, I have actually had time to spend more that 30 minutes on it.
so I got down and got dirty OH Yes it was good, starter off and it was totally siezed (its been off the road for 10 yrs, but the engine has been cranked over by hand every so often so it wasnt siezed.
A couple of hours in the garage had the stater working nicely, so back on it went,
a new battey and turn the key and CLUNK ! DOOH out came the cranking handle and a quick spin over moved the stater dog which had got stuck on refitting, this time turn the key and hey presto engine spinning over like a new one! (so to speak).:)
So next was the points and plugs wow a spark aswell.
abit of petrol in the carb and hey ho she fired in to life, so a bit of fuel in the tank prime the fuel lines to get rid of the varnish and on the turn of a key she ran for 10 minutes
first time for 10 years, now for the rest of it lol.:D:D:D:D:D:D

got a verry good example of a series 2 there matey but shes got series 3 door hinges on fer sure

and by the colour of it she looks like shes ex coastguard to me

cant wait to see your rebuild thread on this one :D:D:D:D

Well I'm waiting to get the Doc's back from DVLA as they never sent them through when I purchased it, so ill see what the original date is and then try to find out previous owners, I had noticed the change of door hinges, but I have the original ones with it.
as for the rebuild I might get I will have to see how good or bad the chassis is and then see what happens from there lol.
