Hi all!

Bought this a few days ago. Very solid which is why I bought it, boot floor, inner wings, battery tray, sills all fantastic!

had a bit of kit on it already as it will be a green lamer / camper. It's just tatty and the paint is rough but I will get sprayed.

2" terrafirma
2" body
Snorkel
HD bumpers front and back
Champion 12000 with wireless remote no cable or rope
Steering guard
Diff guard
Spot lights / Bar
285 85 15 at turo brand new
Mack 5 alloys
Hi lift jack
2 spare front shocks
A wing
Brand new spare on a modular

Started on the inside had a small area of surface rust on the floor so ground it back and treated it and painted it with some stuff from work ( I do industrial flooring ) it will all get either boxed in / rubber matted or carpets so you won't see it. Nice to know its sealed and ready to go!

Ripped the material off the headliner, brushed the old flaky glue off and sprayed it black.... Came out awesome as you can see in the pics.

Made a chequer plate door panel, has a table and a small box for a cooker. Realised I can't open the door now whoops have to whip the grinder out....

Added some foil installation to the roof / rear panels.

Put hd wheel carrier on.

Engine full service, few silicone hoses. Cam belt. Brake pads etc

The last guy straight piped the snorkel so put original air is back in and modified for the snorkel.

The wheels need balancing.....

I'm hoping to get all the inside sorted and general mechanics sorted for LR show at the end of the month. Still has MOT but don't see any reason why it may fail... Up to now

I'll update soon!

Looking better already. I always liked the shape of the 3 door better than the 5 door ones. So it's good to see you keeping it alive.

Cheers Brown,

Got most of the panels in today, they were a bit rough so wafted over them with a can of satin. Refurbished the seat frames and gave it a power wash underneath.

Didn't expect that this thread would have been the same Disco I seen on Saturday!

I shall be watching this thread well :)

What landrover show was it?

Hi Rory! No way.... small world, at least you can get a better idea of the front bumper now. Should hopefully have the rear completed soon, seats are in now just waiting on some rubber matting for the floor.

It's was Land Rover owners show Peterborough

Hey Phil! Was good to meet fellow landy re-builders! i mean, owners ;) lol,
Do you and your dad have alot of parts floating around often then? I went laneing up the lakes yesterday and i might need to get some protection. haha!

Hey mate!

Yes we have a bit of Stuff, we can fabricated most things to. Give my dad a call and get the postcode for the other unit and pop down one day.

I'm having trouble with insurance on the disco. It was pretty cheap with the 90 but thin is coming out 1000 upwards.

Will do pal! Good to know you guys are close.. almost needed a lift pump yesterday, pulled apart and cleaned it.. so got away this time haha.

Do you guys post up the parts for sale anywhere??

Ahhhh saved yourself some $$$ then

Not really don't make enough stuff to warrant selling and posting etc. better off nipping down and see what's lying about ha

Few more pics to update:

Different bumper on
Brake pads and discs
Silicone hoses
Full service etc...
Wheels off ready for a spraying. Now includes insane amount of weights to balance them!
