Well, many of you know the unfortunate fate of my last landy...
Well, last night I finally got around to buying a new one, from our very own (lifesaver) dogwood!
Its a 2000 defender 110 station wagon. Things I liked about it:
New Clutch
New Steering
New Rear Discs
New Seatbelts
Exmoor trim highback rear seats
Tubular Bumper
Spots
Rock/tree sliders
Towing Gear
Non-standard stereo system
All in all a great landy!
He also threw in some very nice things, e.g. a spare propshaft with new UJs, a load of spare bulbs and bulb covers, some extra long cables for when I get around to buying a winch and plenty more.
A great guy.
Now today I've ditched work, and gone laning! Unfortunately, having never own a camera, and never taken a picture in my life (you'll see this is true below) I never took any pictures.
However, I've been prompted to go out and buy a camera and get some pics on here asap!
Note the shocking quality of them. Like I said, never taken a picture before. Also note the camera box, which I'd just nipped to tesco to buy.
Compared to the tame nature of my old landy, I've determined the perfect name (I know namings gay) for this landy.
So smurfs and smurfesses, may I reveal to you...
The beast
The front end, check out the very nice snork
Check out my posh rock sliders!
Bombproof steering guard, this is top end stuff!
QT Services rear diff guard and painted diff. Oh the luxury!
A bit dirty after today. But I love the duct taped in speakers and the new stereo. Also note the camera box....
The high back seats from behind, the load area, three point harness in the middle, and what I like to call....my fcuk up box!
Can anyone tell I'm excited? And sorry for putting them like this instaed of attached, but it wouldn't let me upload to this site.
