hello everyone. i have finally found a good car/my dream car!

its a 2004 (nearly 2005) defender 110 hardtop TD5, pretty high mileage at 187k! it doesnt have a service history, but only had 1 owner, which was a utility company. suprisingly someone at my work used to work for said company, he said they took very good care of their vehicles. it has had all new parts fitted and has no advisories on its mot. it runs and starts perfectly, except for a UJ that needs a bit of attention. thanks to @neilly for the buying guide, i followed that when viewing! ive been driving it 30 miles everyday this week and have had no problems so far, its god a perfect chassis. it does need waxoyled though (task for when i get paid) i have even taken it down a couple greenlanes today and it didnt have any problems..

so far i love it, and i intend on doing a few mods to make it even better!

Hi @jellymon
Well the looks clean and original.

Nice motor, hope she does you well. Anything you can think of adding to the buying guide ,shout out, it is evolving.

So what are you plans for it, keep it std? modify it?

Cheers

thanks.

i dont want to modify it too much, but i do want to do a few bits. a low profile winch bumper and winch. a roofrack, better tyres, i want to keep the rims though. probably blank the egr and just a little bit of chequer plate to protect the wingtops. also want to install some little windows that go on the back since this didnt have them installed, and probably put a bench seat there too. not yet decided about a small window/blindspot window.

Keep it original, don't remove the egr until after May when it will be clearer what the MOT impact will be. Nice motor :)
