You sure it will pass mot like that. The reason for the stupid light location is if you brake down and open the rear door, the hazard and normal lights should still be visible.

I wanted to do the mods but spend as little as possible, so it took a bit of working out how to use standard bulbs and stuff, the bumper light looms came from the scrappy

Cool, I agree it looks much better like that and for normal driving and is safer too. The rules are stupid in this case.

The side lights being inboard was the thing that made me want to do it, but the high fog and low indicators needed sorting too, I couldn't see the point adding extra indicators so the only extra on mine is the higher sidelight
