The 27th August 2024. This was the Morning when my 2003 Serengeti TD4 automatic PASSED the MOT without a Blemish!!!!!
157000 miles on the clock, running like a Swiss Watch I stood and waited whilst the MOT man checked every little Nut and Bolt. Approximately one hour later he Passed it with no Minor Defects or Advisories. Now what should I do? Shall I advertise it for the right money and buy a newer 4x4 or should I keep it for another year??? What would you do??? She does need a bit of fettling, the Central Locking needs seeing to on the Drivers Door side, the Tailgate needs looking at because the heated window stopped heating but these are things I have lived with for quite a few years. Let me know what you would do?
cheers all

You keep it - no brainer.
Your own, known, running sweet, is priceless.

A MOT pass doesn't necessarily mean reliable, but its a good start and does tell you that the important bits are sound.

You know yourself whether its reliable or not.

I have got things that don't work on our F1 that were broke when we bought it 14 years ago. They obviously don't inconvenience us to much and are not important.

We got an F2 earlier in the year, but not to replace the F1. Change of work meant 1 car was a bit of a pain and a 2nd car suited. Its great to have the F2, really like it, but we wouldn't have swapped the F1 for it.

You better sell it and join the Red Arrows mate. Mine passed too but I didn't see any flying colours... Just a dirty plume of black smoke and a trail of muddy oil... 🤣
