Rear step finished
Done fuel, air filter will give a oil change within the first week of being on the road and will also change auto box filter and oil soon along with axles just so I have trouble free motoringGood to see you've replaced the tyres... if I was picking one up that's been sat for 3 year's i'd be replacing the belts and all the fluids and filters as well
just so I have trouble free motoring
Trouble free motoring? Discovery? I didnt realise these two things were compatible!
Tyres look a bit close the body at the front, or is it just me?
I guess they are close but they don't scrub even on a bit of the rough ground but won't fully know until I try it on the woods this weekendTyres look a bit close the body at the front, or is it just me?
No I don't have any on it yet and I think this pic is a bad angle or something because it appears to have a fair rake to it where it's pretty level in real. Do you think it is necessary for me to get castor correct for just a 2" lift?Does look odd,
Does it have the castor corrected bars on it?
Cheers
Thanks for the heads up I will do as I really don't want to damage a nearly pristine body work through stupidity lol and I bet it's a nightmare to try and tig that thin alloy bodyTake it easy to start with otherwise you might start clawing at your bodywork with your tyres
Thanks for that I have just read it and I also read somewhere on the net that a 2" lift was not that bad on stock stuff but would benefit from d2 double cardinals and castor correct but il do these in the near future, the truck needed new suspension anyway as it was all sagging lopsided so I put the lift on live and learn I guess lol as things start failing now il upgrade the other bits to correct it aswell. This is an enjoyable read.
