If you plan to off road it then ditch the plough on the back :D

After a service, you want decent tyres and recovery points. After that a snorkel and extended breathers if you are going paddling :) That will give you a capable wagon for greenlaning/fording. If you want to then get serious you will be looking at suspension lifts, bigger tyres, winches, cranked arms etc etc. It depends how mad you want to go.

what is the point of suspension lift if the axle is still trailiing in the muck if you need axle clearance buy a unimog

Have you had a look under the carpet at the boot floor? and the front footwells?. If anything like mine you will soon be doing a Fred Flintstone ! :D

wow, thanks everyone for all the info, top of the list is a full service then, to be honest the mods were just because I think all yours look so cool!!

But have hit a problem, I can't get in!! I put the key in drivers door and you can see the lock try to pop up but won't unlock, tried going in through the passenger door and unlocking by hand and it won't pull up, had to give up as battery was draining and wife/neighbours not happy at the alarm!!

Anyone got any ideas on this one??!!

Try holding key on full turn while pulling handle. Usually does the trick on mine. It's a common fault on the springs in lock mechanism.
