Vehicle has to be over 30 years old. I don't know how to go about registering it as a vintage vehicle yet. I will work my way through the French bureaucracy when the time comes.
Thanks for the encouragement. Anything to do with paperwork in France is a disaster. I organised my UK pension over the internet from France with two emails, all done within three days. The French one took 10 months. lost count how many emails and letters and phone calls. On one occasion I rang the main Pension office in Lyon which is a fairly major town. This was in May. I rang for two days without any answer. Someone did eventually answer, it was the security guard. He told me they had all gone on holiday for the week.Heheheh, good luck with that.
A mate's just got his old Honda motorbike through. He's had it from new, 1977 ish, has all the papers it's 'ever' had, he's lived in France on and off for about 5 years, and it's taken about four of those years to get it fully 'Frenchified' ...
