Literally. I've had the car a few months now and 7 people have said it smells like weed!

What could make that smell? Exhaust, lubricant?!?

Well I did thank maybe there was a stash somewhere but I'll be buffered if I can find it.

The smell seems to be worse from the front of the car. It's getting a bit embarrassing now

Just book a trip across the channel, I am sure on the return trip some friendly people will help you strip the car and find the offending articles.

Phone the local police HQ and i'm sure the Dog section will be pleased to train their dogs on your car. And gets you in the clear too

Try looking under the vent flaps beneath the windscreen, I was sorting mine out yesterday and found a golf ball underneath the mesh!

Found this on the web. Don't know if it's of any use in finding the imposter!

the smell of marijuana is itself the olfaction of pure chemicals, specifically terpenes (beta-caryophyllene). This is how police canine trainers teach their dogs to identify the smell. But these terpenes are quite common. There are more than 200 terpenoids in marijuana alone, but many other non-marijuana sources of terpenes are just as common.

The most common terpenoids include limonene, myrcene, alpha-pinene, linalool, beta-caryophyllene, caryophyllene oxide, nerolidol, phytol, and often do not even come from the marijuana plant itself (while giving off similar scents). As a result, many things with these terpenoids, such as skunk scent, marigolds, skunk cabbage, hops, and even various combinations of rotting garbage can create nearly identical smells.
