Hello! I’ve been lurking for a little while now, but I’ve been a Defender owner for a couple of weeks and thought it was time to introduce myself and my rig!

Purchased from a work colleague who’s just upgraded to a 130 Hi Cap and so I sort of knew the vehicle before I purchased it which made it a much easier decision. It also helps having someone to discuss the next weekend Land Rover job with at work!

I have to say as raw as the experience is to drive it, especially an older one like mine, It has a lot of charm and I always look forward to jumping onboard and going for a spin!

I’ve already written a long list of tasks to complete and look forward to taking things apart and putting it back together again! Just like a big Meccano set!

☺️

Hi and welcome!

Smart looking Landy! Don’t forget some decent security measures for it too.

Thanks! Yes it’s on the list

Those fenders are ginormous. Lovely looking beast, what engines in it?

Welcome too :)

Yes they’re pretty wide aren’t they, not sure what type they are but it suits the look with the chunky tyres.

It’s only a 2.5 diesel unfortunately. It doesn’t bother me too much at the moment. I can plod along plenty fast enough, but it’s the hills that’s it runs out of puff!
