if you are thinking of putting this device on the front of a landy, think youll need a good design/stress engineer to sort the thing out. im not sure that itll ever work for this application. surely the device is more suitable for medium/heavy engineering.
(mainly straight pull at that).

the strength required for the rollerguides to guide the cable at an angle would be considerable. winching say 4 tons?
hate to think of the stresses on the mounting points/welds etc...?

i would love to see this work though.
