hi

just got my land rover mud flaps, however i didnt get any screws with them so i guess I would use the old ones except they are so rusty they fall apart. I have been told by land rover and lr centre liverpool i can not buy the screws. So what other options can I consider??

cheers

The screws are no more than just screws with wide flanges. I used just some similar size thread screws and washers and they held the mudflaps on better than the screws i hadn't replaced.

I just googled engineering supplies cheshire and got loads of results. If you take in the old screw im sure youll get sorted.

Where abouts in Cheshire are you? From Crewe myself. Theres a fair few places i know of where you'll get them around South Cheshire. Infact you'll get screws and washers from your local halfrauds.

Also, Someone else from county cork! I'm living in the city at the moment.

Hi mate, I know this is an old thread. I have some Genuine rear mud flaps for my 56 Freelander1 I need to fit. A couple of things:
  1. Did you use the holes that have screws in which hold on the plastic wheel arch?
  2. If so ... I have a third hole at the bottom of the mudflap ... do I need to make a bracket to fix it?
Any advice or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Paul
