just about to order Simex tyres for my landrover but was informed that MSA rules where changing to ban these type of tyres:eek::eek:

i don't know if this is true:confused: does anyone who off roads with club know:confused:

any help please

AFAIK the MSA have only banned open treaded tyres.

If you are entering a competition then the organising club will have there own set of SRs (supplimentary regulations). It will be in here that any particular tyre ban will be mentioned.

There have been some challenge events that have tyre diameter limits and it may well be this regulation that has been passed along the rumour chain to you :)

Bottom line, check with the competition organisers.
