Apologies guys, had a bad day and i owe apologies, Not had a landrover before and got excited, I will start my question again,

I found a hole the size of a fifty pence piece about 4 inches above where the front mudflap goes, is this an mot failure or can i get away with it, thanks for any help

Fair play to you.

Right, back to your question.

As has been said, you 'should' be fine.

I've a tame MOT tester as a friend (I know there are a couple of fellas on here that ARE MOT testers) And his opinion is that the front inner wing is not a structural component on Most Landys as the suspension turrets pas through it.
However, if the corrosion is too close to the body-mount areas or the master cylinder, you could be in trouble.

I await being shot down in flames:D:D

Very nice of you to say that:) We are not evil fookers:confused:well not most of us;), we just like to have some fun give some advice. And test newbies of iffy questions, to see if they are worth there salt.:D Then quite often we have a grammer queen that pops up at times, Checking your spelling, punctuation, and capitalization..

Fill in your location and there may well be someone local who might sort it out for Beer, Chips, Cake..... they iz all classed as currency round here;);)

Careful with the location:rolleyes: grimmer is always looking for a cheap shag:bolt:

when that plastic liner is peeled back it is gonna be a lot bigger than 50p but an easy enough place to patch so dont stress about it, i can tell you this though-that is certainly not the only hole you are going to have, the disco is a rot box, mine certainly is but i love it. My advice is buy a mig and start practicing, it will pay for itself in no time.

good luck with the exploration for more holes, have you lifted the boot carpet yet?

Think i will buy myself a welder, not lifted boot carpet yet but I dont care because I sat in it tonight and started the engine and I thought I LOVE THIS DISCO, I dont care what it has to have done to it
