We'll I like them never had a problem with them used them on this and other p38s and never never repeat never had any complaints ..... Times change technology changes ...

I think it's a bit of an overreaction that HIDs will kill someone.

When people drive towards me with main beam on I simply don't look at them directly and I find I can see just fine. I've also never been bothered by HIDs that are badly aimed in other cars.

Yes...technology does change & progress, but the P38 wasn't designed for HID's in the first place & is dangerous with them fitted. I just hope you don't learn the hard way when some poor bugger ends up in a hedge after being blinded by you.:mad::mad:

So, you're "Special":)

The point is, if you are unlucky enough to be involved in a RTA, you are likely to find your insurance company will invalidate your cover. Perhaps that's a risk you are willing to take. In my experience insurers will use anything to get out of paying.

I'd be more worried about the BECM MOSFETS with HID's. Quite a high inrush current as they spark up.

Just posted up a diagram on AULRO for a guy of what MOSFET drives what lamp etc, as he's had HIDs in (and looking to take them out now I think) because he's now getting failures and problems..

This row could go on for ever ..... My car my personal choice ..over reaction ? I think so to ... But every one is entitled to say what ever ?? My eyes are fine .... And now I can see so much more ..... My route to work is all dark A roads with cyclists riding along it with out yes with out lights !! And this is at 4,30 am ...... So now I can see a lot more ... I've been down this busy busy road every day for a long time and seen many cars vans trucks swerve to avoid them ...so I am sticking to them .........

Did you or did you not say your car failed on beam test. Then when you put standard bulbs in it passed. Then you refitted HID bulbs after test. Does that not tell you something? Do you appreciate what it is like for a driver wearing spectacles to come up against a dazzling headlamp. Until you do, do not be so bloody smug.

As said .... Ya can all kiss me butt .... My car my choice ...

Well dickhead my only hope is that the first driver you blind is a traffic cop, you will deserve everything he throws your way. The roads are dangerous enough without pillocks like you on them.

Wammers can they remove/revoke a Mot sticker for what he has done and impound his car for illegal stuff on it?

The police can if they find the car illegal, which it is. They can order it off the road until it has passed another MOT. But that does not stop the idiot from changing the lights back after that one aswell. The man is a bloody idiot.
