Lol yeah something like that,it's funny that I will remember a car i tested from a year ago or be out driving and see a car I recognise lol

Had a car in yesterday where they had used filler to "repair" the sills so a little tap with my tapping stick, and out pops a big chunk of the stuff, he customer didn't know anything the filler repair, eventho the tub of filler and a can of satin black aerosol was sat in the boot lol

No harm intended, but putting a motor in for an MOT with numerous lights / horn etc not working is just laziness, and is only going to make the tester be more harsh on anything borderline he finds, as he will just see it as a car that gets zero maintenance.

I wouldn't dream of taking even a 4 year old, 10,000 mile car in for its first ever MOT without a good clean inside and out, and checking the wipers and lights as a very minimum, perception is everything.

No offence taken, i agree it was me being a bit lazy and i have hardly any mech and elecrical know how compared to most of everyone on here, i done everything i could to get it up to gether but wasnt enough, got a friends workshop and going to get the bits n pieces so going to sort it all this afternoon :)
