I'm not that far from hallams- seem very pricey
I would try another mot place, but as been said it's not a lot of work to put right.

I'll give you £2.59, four buttons and the fluff from the bottom of me pocket for it if you wanna get rid of it;):D

I can vouch for what Storm says.... this is the guy who fitted mine. Nice bloke, good set up, cash is king...without boring your socks off..... http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f7/replace-rear-crossmember-can-i-ask-audience-95108.html pics of it fitted. You will need to waxoyle or similar but you should do that anyway.
He will do it in a day... so you can take a walk into Warwick... I would suggest you take a spliff, 3 or 4 newspapers and head for Weatherspoons, the castle is very expensive.... fook all to do for 6hours.

yes, sounds like they're ****ers, and they're just doing everything they can to make you feel like keeping your landy is hopeless.. the last MOT I got on my Laguna, the garage hadn't even MOT'd it before they were saying that I should part-ex it with their courtesy car, and that they'd just sell my car for scrap.. They quoted me over £400 to fix the work once they MOT'd it, and tried to fill me with the feeling of doom. I did it all myself for about £100 in the end,... the ****ers!!

Got my landy rear x-member plated for about £70 on my last MOT, which isn't bad at all either :)

I just found this too...dont know where the OP is based but its a ton cheaper...

Rear Crossmember on eBay (end time 14-Apr-10 21:25:24 BST)

Brilliant, thanks Storm99

That is very handy for me - I live in Glossop so I could drive to Ashbourne leave the landy and cycle back. Hopefully they could do the axle joint too.

I will give them a call and sound them out over the phone but if anyone else has any experience of them that would be helpful

Oh, you're one of these strange 'fit' people are you? Should be an easy ride for you then. I prefer my bikes with engines in 'em:D
