Hello all,

I'm Dan, from Cardiff, new here (obviously) and haven't owned a Landy in years, fell in love with my Dad's old Series 1 flat bed conversion in 1993 and it's taken until now to get my hands on another LR. Also helped by my Vectra eating it's second alternator in 6 months on the way back from the Alps two weeks ago. :mad:

Glad to now own something that I can fix, it's like big lego!

Oh, yes, it's a Freelander, imminent flaming...:p

I could do that with my polo, even easier with the gaylander, point a hose at it and it'll shed all the body panels :D Best was my mates fiat cinquicento though :D you could literally pick that thing up and carry it to the other end of the carpark with a friend.

Really confusing for him when he came back to look for it :rolleyes:

We did that with my sisters Metro once. Bent the front wing. Doh. Funny as hell though, for us, lol.

Someone did that to his mini that he had before it :eek: the things are made of biscuit tins and just bend when you touch them!


One of my favourite practical jokes for small cars though :D although now I can just tow my mates cars
 
My dad apprently had a skeleton key in the 70's that would open most cars, he parked 35 cars about 1 foot next to each other in a car park during a big dinner, locked the last one and walked off. Took hours to get everyone back in.

Someone apparently found out it was him though, he woke up with the spare tire from his car on his chest.

A favourite story of mine from when I was younger, :)
