More brake probs.... :o(

OK, swapped the drums over, was the nearside locking now its the off side, which points to the drum, I guess....

Tried the chamfering, did not work....

Brake cylinders have sort of been eliminated with swapping the drums...

Guess a new set of drums???
 
Daft question, but why would it lock? Drum does not seem oval, brakes pulled up square with no juddering. even filed the edge rust away in case that was catching on the new shoes, in all fairness the old shoes were hardly worn, twas only that the N/S ones were soaked in oil that I replaced both sides.
 
judging the drums roundness wif yur eye is one thing.
when you mike them up, you will fall about laughing.
 
if there is some sideways play in your shoes or the drum itself is slightly wider this can affect it, also if the drum is not sitting quite right that can fook it up to
 
must a bin a 3yr 'prentice then - i woz the last of the 5 year ones at Weybridge.

I started about 3 weeks after they cut up all the TSR2 fuselages on the runway :(
