Do the following:
Drive it off a cliff and make sure you land on your roof. Fatal injuries aside, get out if you can and the new orientation of the vehicle will provide you with a hassle-free view of whether your prop's connected to the rear diff or not.
Save's "hours" of tedium bending down and looking UNDER your FL...

i went on wet grass today and it was easy to get all 4 wheels spining only all 4 spin if its working ok
or Pythagoras or some such reason was the cause.
unless its got a freewheeling VCU.
