Hi, my TD5 xs has a replacement Momo steering wheel installed (by previous owner).
Unfortunately the indicators / auto-cancel doesn't work.
I understand this because the original wheel would have had some "grooves" that located with the Blue Ring (that does the auto-cancelling). The back of the Momo has two little threaded holes !
Anyone know if there's a part available that allows the autocancel to work with an aftermarket steering wheel?

Many thanks

The auto cancel on the steering wheel should be two “pins” that locate on the blue bit still on the steering column. If you don’t have the blue bit fitted, it won’t work. If you do have the blue bit, screw two bolts into the threaded holes, chop the heads off, tidy up the cuts and see if it works.

i would use two cap head (allen pins) of the correct length recall someone using roll pins and later larger pegs and found the
indicator cancelling very slow and had to use nylon sleeves to increase size further so would think cap head pin would give
correct size just need to measure the correct length try https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic52041-15.html

Thanks guys, I'd been thinking of trying something similar so this information is extremely useful
