Modified extended thrust bearing

does anybody know where i can get the modified thrust bearing for my discovery td5 with a single mass conversion the only place i can find it is in a £400 heavy duty kit and i only need the bearing please help as its in bits lol cheers steve

Never heard of an extended longer one, why would it need to be longer?

I've got a Rakeway solid flywheel on mine and the HD release bearing that came with it was the same dimensions as a stock one.

Might help if you showed us the kit you're referring to.

DA2357HD - Heavy Duty Defender & Discovery TD5 Flywheel and Clutch Kit it comes as a carrier for the bearing as with the conversion its left it short hence the extension carrier thanks steve

Hmm it does look longer, wishing I'd taken some photos of mine now, not so sure it was stock dimensions any more.

Far as I know britpart make that craddocks kit -> DA2357HD | Britpart Super-Heavy Duty Clutch Kit for TD5

Same part no there - probably worth giving them a call.

Hi,
Probably a bit late now.. but I found this part n°PSD103470BRG on Paddock spares. (http://www.paddockspares.com/psd103470brg-release-bearing.html)
This reference is part of the clutch kit DA2357HD, you can find at Johncraddock, Paddock or Britpart
Hope it helps someone looking for it now.
