Hi,
I did some service on my RR Westminster 4.2 SC 2007 today. One of the things was to flush the coolant system. On my RR the is a drain tap that I used. That’s step #1. Some fluid went out but definitely not all. Step #2 is to open the cylinder block drain plug. It would be of great pleasure if I can do this step in another way? I don’t have a lift and my garage is full of **** so I’m outside,

Is there another way? Maybe have the drain tap open, run the vehicle so the coolant is in motion and it drain itself? My thought is to fill it with water and when it’s all clear I fill with my coolant.

Right way or a no-no way?

I certainly would not run the engine to get the coolant out, could be catastrophic.

Is that a joke? Try it and let us know what happens when running an engine with no coolant in it.
How long do you intend running it?
Did you take the expansion bottle top off when trying to drain it?
Not a joke. An honest question? How would you do?
