Hi,
I did some service on my RR Westminster 4.2 SC 2007 today. One of the things was to flush the coolant system. On my RR the is a drain tap that I used. That’s step #1. Some fluid went out but definitely not all. Step #2 is to open the cylinder block drain plug. It would be of great pleasure if I can do this step in another way? I don’t have a lift and my garage is full of **** so I’m outside,

Is there another way? Maybe have the drain tap open, run the vehicle so the coolant is in motion and it drain itself? My thought is to fill it with water and when it’s all clear I fill with my coolant.

Right way or a no-no way?

I certainly would not run the engine to get the coolant out, could be catastrophic.

In you're case it might be best to pay someone.
Drain it, fill it with water and a flushing agent if you prefer. Run it for a day if you like, do it again.
Eventually refill with correct amount and type of antifreeze.
Workshop manual will have procedure for your particular vehicle.

Thanks! I might pay someone to do it.
