didn't it distract you that big yellow van following you everywhere you went "just in case" ?

mind you, must have saved a fortune in fuel keep having it dragged back by them, more than outweighed the cost of membership

Int there a clause about recurring repairable faults ? Surely owning a hippo would be excluded ?

never can go with AA not ever. Ex wife works for them as a call centre manager (well she was last time we spoke, back in 2000). Think I might be a marked man!

When I had a wee mishap on M25 in me astravan (introduced it to back of a laguna in the wet, and bust me radiator) took over 5 hours for recovery to arrive. Further investigation by the highways agency, who were by now getting the hump waiting for me to get off the hard shoulder revealed that my recovery firm had subcontracted the recovery out to the AA only 20 mins after I called.
The rest of the delay was down to the AA. Two calls from Highways later, and the AA further subcontracted it to another firm, who turned up in 1/2 hour
Just co-incidence ? Maybe, maybe not. Best not take a chance.
