Hi...ok i have been at my witts end for the last 6 hrs trying to get to the bottom of why the green m & s lights are flashing on my dash, hence disco wont start, as a last resort ive crawled underneath for some dtrange reason to look at the gearbox & the plug which i assume you would unscrew to drain transmission fluid has completely gone.....i csn clearly see hole towards the front with nothing in it.Cant get me head around how this could vome out without spewing fluid all over.Im sort of hoping that this is the problem as it will be ( i think ) an easy fix IE new fluid in & a new cap. Is this unusual ?? and what is the likelyhood of this being the problem for my 2 green warning lights ?? When goin through gears im getting 1234 NDP showing on the dash, checked 10amp fuse for engine management its fine, getting sound of fuel pump from the back, battery seems fine aswell.....regards in advance david

If you mean the hole at the front of the gearbox under neath so facing the floor that will be your wading plug hole. The gearbox has a massive 32mm nut on the drivers side of gearbox.

Ok i managed a photie if this helps im sure the 2015-08-11 08.06.30.jpg re should be something in this hole.....cheers david
