Freelander 1 missing cam end plate

Noticed i seem to have an end plate missing on the head, assume the spinning part is the end of one of the camshafts. HG replaced recently but i can't remember if it was on before then. anyone know where i can get one from? cheers.

Yes there should be a cover over the cam. Unfortunately it's not cheap.

You'll need to check the screw size, as 2 are listed.

Screw M8 x 16 with integral flange.

Yes, you could make one. It's only there to cover where the distributor used be on the early models, just to make the engine look finished.
