So here is, my beloved engine I put loads of work into.. and I'm not saying I'm certainly selling it, but seeing if it gets any interest to make it worth while.
Soo, it's out of my old damaged 2003 d2 auto. Has around 160k miles on it. My plan was to get it perfect, and then swap it into my new d2 which doesn't have the best engine. But.. with debt collectors on my ass soon it will have to go!
So, the oil sump has been off, cleaned, new gasket and oil pickup filter cleaned too. Oil filter housing has been off, gaskets replaced, and new filters fitted. Quite a few bolts replaced, some stainless where appropriate. Inlet manifold has been off, jetwashed through the inside, gasket replaced. Exhaust manifold is brand new, with new gasket. Turbo was from another td5 with about 90k, I've had a new turbo oil pipe made from stainless steel as in pics. So in all fairness, this engine *shouldn't* leak any oil. the rocker cover has been painted blue. Although the paint job was slightly damaged by a spillage. Have not fitted new injector harness or gasket, that will need to be done. Has EGR DELETE fitted. Also new water pump fitted,
I can tell you, this was the hardest pulling TD5 I've driven. It is missing a couple bits like map sensor etc but nothing much.
