The Steve Parker LT77 300tdi mounts should be the same as a R380 with a stumpy bell-housing.
The whole point of the stumpy bell-housing was to keep the engine and transfer box in the same place when a LT77 was replaced with a R380.
On the positive side, you have saved £65.
yes the short bell housing r380 was produced to replace any warranty lt77s after the change over so the stumpy fits on the lt77 mounts

Ok
Thanks for great information
I think I have the bell housings from a TDI as it has the Lowe ears that bolt to engine mount brackets. Doe anyone know what the R380 stumpy bell housing looks like , and where I could buy one.
Where my engine is at present the tdi chassis to engine mounts are right next to the two holes Steve parkers kit uses . Once welded the bolts wont go back through. Also I don't like the way the gearbox rubber mounts look stressed where it sits at present.

You have a "stumpy" or short bell-housing as your Land Rover had the R380 when the 2.5 N/A was fitted, all other standard R380 bell-housings are the long Range Rover / Discovery types that put the engine 6" forwards, towards the front of the engine bay.
The part you refer to, with the ears, is the flywheel housing that bolts to the engine behind the flywheel, this is the same on all 300tdi's. The bell housing is the ............ bell shaped housing ............ attached to the the gearbox.
