MIG gas upgrades.

Still need to connect 24v wire to brass fitting and connect in some form of gas solenoid.
As stated previously, I might run the low voltage electrics through a solenoid, to reduce load on trigger switch.

Well.... that didnt work out very well . Relay doesnt seem to work from 24V supply (Yes it is a 24V relay) although I could only measure 19.6volts OC and 0V with relay connected!!
So not much further. I can use the new Euro torch to switch the motor feed, but that still leaves me no gas supply!

Sorted :).
You cant use the trigger switch to trigger the relay directly, it has to be done as a parallel switch! For some reason, when the trigger switches the motor circuit, the voltage goes up!!!!

I suggest using a bit of heat on the pipe & push it further on to the gas valve. Looks a bit precarious!
