Hi all. I'm looking to replace the tyres and was wondering if anybody has used these before?

i've got the latitude tour .. i think the 'cross' is their replacement ..

i liked this about the Latitudes ..

they've felt secure in all conditions .. although i'd rule out sheet-ice
.. were good in snow ..and probably not so great in serious mud i'd imagine ..

have lasted much longer than the pirelli's i first had ..
harder rubber compound probably ..

if i can find the mileage i fitted the current set .. i'll post the data
( now down to 3mm front .. 4mm rears ) .. new tyres were 8mm depth i think
EDIT to add .. sorry just had a search .. can't find the data
( bit miffed cause i normally note down all work done to the vehicle
( dates .. mileage .. etc .. etc ..

and slightly bigger size than original specs .. can be cheaper ..
my current ones are 225/65/17r ..

I was debating about going slightly bigger but it would have to be on the standard wheels. My size is 215/65/16. I'm assuming I could only increase the profile a little on the standard wheels?

try a search .. top right of page ..
like "what's the largest tyre for a 16" rim" ( freelander forum)
i.e. ones that don't need any mods to the suspension so they don't rub on parts ..
take into account .. taller tyres will affect the overall gearing ..
i chose a larger size cause i'd modded the engine so it would respond much better from low rpm
( all mods are in my signature .. relating to the td4 lump )
and as an aside .. they've made my speedo dead accurate .. according to gps speed readings
and no .. i've not tested the gearing in off-road conditions ..
as i generally stay on-road

I put CrossClimate plus on my Volvo V70 and so far they have been excellent, although they have yet to see snow.
I got them through ATS Euromaster who are doing a deal at the moment, including a free Amazon Echo. Not so convinced about the Echo which no one seems to have a use for, but the tyres are good.
