Metal set belt mechanism guard???

Howdo Gents I haven't posted for ages and as usual I'm only here when I want something!! Am I imagining it or was there a metal seat belt mechanism guard you could buy to stop said part getting kicked by passengers? Just failed an MOT because of a knackered mechanism. I camt find them anywhere, does anyone know 9fbthey even exist. Cheers,

Never heard of one. Shouldn’t be to hard to fabricate something simple.

I replaced the mechanism that reels back the belt, I'm sure I saw once there was a metal guard you could buy to protect it, I'm always ****ting mine and kicking it.

Yeah I think that's the route I'll go, I'll post what I come up with.
