Back atcha (;-)>Merry Christmas and a happy new year from me and my Freelander to you and your Freelander.
May all yer Freelanderin dreams come true in 2020.
.
I ran into the back of a Peugeot estate in the B & Q carpark last night. I didn't actually notice at the time, but the Peugeot's owner (who was sat in the car) wasn't too happy when he collared me when I returned to the FL1. There wasn't any damage that I could see, I didn't even know I'd touched it until I was walking back to the car and thought "I'm close to that". You wouldn't believe how upset this guy was, from the slightest little touch, which I didn't even feel.Merry Christmas to @Hippo and all.
Mrs & Ms Grumpy took the Freelander down the supermarket yesterday for the Christmas shop and got our first 'present' when a bird in her mum & dads Honda Jazz went into the back of them!
The Jazz was a bit of a mess evidently - but the Freelander looks undamaged. Looks like the towbar used the metalwork on the front of the Jazz to absorb the impact.
The back door is untouched and everything still looks to be in its correct position, with a few scuffs on the bumper - dunno if there's anything specific I should check.

Oh well it must be the Christmas spirit.
In all honesty, there really wasn't anything to be collared about. He was a foot into my space, so I had to pull up close. My car only moved forward 1/2" on the parking pawl as I released the brakes. I apologised once I noticed, checked for damage and that would have been that. I wouldn't have made an issue if it were the other way round, but everyone has different tolerance levels I guess.I'd have collared you by the time you'd undone your seat belt !
