Can any tell me what engine I’ve got from the engine number please

I’m wanting to replace the thermostat. Think I’ve read Discoverys and rrc stats operate at diff temps, just done a test on mine didn’t start to open until it got to 93c, think best to replace it,

Sorry, I wanted to ask if it’s from a discovery or a Range Rover, only because I’ve read the 2 engines take slight different thermostats (opening temps)
So yes it’s a v8 3.9 efi,
Next time I post I will read it b4 posting and try and give as much info as possible
 
but thats the point. an engine is just that, an engine. its in whatever vehicle its in.
what matters for you is the engine ecu, thats the bit which might be different, so if you've got a rrc then you want a thermostat for a rrc, for example

Defender. With a 3.9 efi was originally a 200tdi
I was trying to find out if my engine was from a rrc or a discovery, I read somewhere about the thermostats opening at different temps from the 2 vehicles. I hope I didn’t read that wrong, but just wanted to make sure
