The door on my 90 is touching against the tub, and the top of the roof, making it impossible to put the seal in, and also making it difficult to close. Any help? Thanks

There is some adjustment on the hinges if you can undo the screws on the bulkhead you should be able to move it.

I tried this before, made no difference. Well, it did, less banging and it actually hit the striker pin.

Fraser, have you had the tub or bulkhead off?
I would suggest either the bulkhead has been off at some time or its had a prang thats closed up the door opening. Have you owned it long enough to know what happened? Might be an idea to post a photo of the gap between the door front edge and the bulkhead....if the gap is big enough you MIGHT just be able to file out the hinge holes in the bulkhead to get a bit more movement
The only way to increase the size of the door opening is to move the bulkhead forward, a whole world of fun, as all the bolts are likely to be rusted, the rear body is fixed at the rear X member and not adjustable fore and aft. I need to adjust mine since the rebuild and 18 months later am still putting it off!

Now, the bulkhead has been off, probably should have mentioned this. I have done a complete body stripdown and rebuild, and restoration on the chassis. Thanks for your help though. I think it might be the wing not letting the bulkhead tilt upwards enough. I'll have a go

Looks like bulkhead needs to tilt forwards.
When building from the ground up, the bulkhead needs setting up with the doors on, before the wings get fitted.
Once the wings are fitted and bolted up their is no movement to adjust.
I did this recently for someone on here, the had gone from a truck cab to a hard top, so the doors where now hitting the van sides.
What an absolute nightmare. ended up unbolting all the wings and pulling forwards a few inch, loosen all roof, sides, windscreen, pretty much everything needed a little bit of jiggling.
Was at it all day, well it was dark by the time we'd finished, and their was still the spats to put back on.

At least yours has already been apart, so everything will come undone nice and easy
This was uncharted territory for me, rusted and seized bolts etc.. which made it all the more difficult.

Okay, thanks for your help. Job done! a sufficient gap in the door now makes it possible to put a seal in. Done in 2-3 hrs, knowing that i knew where the bolts were, stainless bolts all round, etc.. Thanks alot for your help!
