Mary my Series lll 109

Right here we go. As I am doing a rolling restoration on Mary I thought I would share my woes with you all. She is my first landrover who I have owned for 5 months. When I first got her she had cooling issues, electrical issues and rot on the passenger side of the bulkhead. Sp straight in at the deep end or so I thought. Owning a landrover means one job leading to another. So the cooling system came first reconditioned radiator, removal of the matrix box unearthed half the matrix rotted away. Next came the fan assembly again rotten. WTF have I let myself into? I thought . Next came the bulkhead half a day welding and preparation to paint it. Next came the electrics and It was a bit of a birds nest (a fooking big bird at that). A couple of days later cutting and chopping the birds nestand the battery relocated under the passenger seat job done for now.
