.
i did just buy some limestone paint from paddocks and only came in 1ltr which for the price was terrible
Until you compare it to craftmasters which is £27.95 a litre Suddenly makes paddocks look bargain basement
Actually doing some maths 2.5L of paddocks paint isn't that far off a 2.5L from where you ordered (works out at £37.50 (Incl VAT)) A whole pound cheaper .
I bought a tin of Paddocks Marine Blue a couple of years ago and found it didn't match at all. I incorrectly believed this to be due to my original paint changing over the years. I then bought a small Genuine Land Rover Marine Blue in an aerosol can...but it was expensive. I was amazed to find that it matched perfectly...but respraying the whole car using small aerosol cans would be way too expensive.
Is it the paddocks paint you used on the one in your signature? It looks good, same age as mine too
I only used the Paddocks paint for the interior because of the imperfect match...but I have used the genuine aerosol paint for small areas to touch-up on the exterior. I'm in two minds to paint the galvanised bumper in satin black to try and update it a bit.
I have a 1985 90 how do i know what colour it is? Thank you so much very much appreciatedThat is Stratos Blue Paint Code LRC 327
(Not Blue Stratos - that is something quite different)
That’s interesting feedback. I want to go back to MN from hideous Masai Red.i suggest you do not use Paddocks for Marine Blue. Ive got three tins off them and all are unsuitable for a series. I think Landrover called the blue on the earlly 90s Marine Blue which is much darker, this is what Paddocks supplied to me 3 times. local supplier got it spot on first time
hideous Masai Red.
Well it’s just not a colour I like each to their own.
