I have no winch...
Not do I but clearly they thought it did when it left the factory. My suspicion is that very few left with a winch but every pub around Brum was selling them cheap.
I have no winch...
@RangeRoller dt Ha Ha, I don't suppose it took too long to work out what was making the noise there then.
Pretty certain my noise was being caused by the H'brake, been running it for 2 weeks now without shoes, no untoward noises, (except the doris "when are you going to fix that then"). Will rebuild with new parts when I can be arsed.View attachment 176519
I did clean and lube everything that was meant to move, no difference to noise so took the shoes out.Doubt it was that clean leaving the factory
So anybody take theirs in for the recall?...
Yes that’s right - It’s a rhetorical question just to end the thread
No we didn’t - nobody did, it’s a waste of time, none of us have ever had a warn winch
Buy a busted one cheap now and chuck it on take it in for recall saying it’s never worked as long as you’ve had it - a truth- see if they fix it
I have 1 1/2 brackets and the tray and old bumper just need the warn winch!!
Can't see myself pulling to much with it though
Think for you it’s more a case of vehicle originality than ‘want a £1000 accessory il never use on my urban off-roader’I have 1 1/2 brackets and the tray and old bumper just need the warn winch!!
Can't see myself pulling to much with it though
