mantec window guards

I'm getting ready to purchase a set of the mantec window guards, 3 back interior and the 2 side exterior. Just got a couple of questions for those who own them...

Do the exterior side guards fit on any model/year defender?

Has anyone fitted them, and are they simple bolt on pretty much, I was thinking to use a little seal around the bolts to possibly prevent any vibration noise??

i fitted theese guards to my fender when i had it
the clipped over the roof gutter and then at the bottom we used rivnuts to make them easy to remove for cleaning

I got the fear about how easy it is to push in the rear windows and open the rear door, so before we head over to France I chanced a set of rear window guards on Ebay and fitted them this weekend... not sure what make they are but they were easy to fit, and after a quick paint job looked quite tidy too!
