Major Electrical Fault

Steering wheel lock to lock doesn't clear faults - it just resets the Steering Angle Sensor....the EAS, ABS, HDC and HDC all use the steering angle to control the car during braking and cornering and the EAS uses it to stabilise the car during turns....so when you disconnect the Battery you have to reset the Steering Angle Sensor before the othe systems will work properly - hence the faults appearing until you perform this action....

Oh and PS: what have we done to deserve a retort such as you put - I agree with WSR, you have been given help with very minimal 'banter' in between....you should see some of the other threads where the 'Banter' is pretty hardcore and full on - you have got away lightly!

Blimey didn't realise I had stepped on someones toes - always try never to do that as it hurts - just giving an honest response about my way of thinking. I apologise but no doubt will do it again. Oh and my windscreen wipers are really quiet now I have changed them, would never have believed it.
