Hi everyone. Being an old codger I don't know if I'm doing this right, so bear with me please.
I have been reading the posts regarding removing the main pulley bolt on a Freelander TD4.
I am in the throes of doing this right now. So far we have tried a half inch drive socket with an adaptor to a 1 metre 3/4" bar. We made a tool to lock ( successfully), the crank. With the help of a 6 foot tube we have succeeded in breaking the 1/2" to 3/4" adaptor. Any ideas?
