Sat on a rebuilt lt230 1:12 the brakes are up to the task
I’ve fitted anti roll bars and new props
I’ll deal with the diffs if they fail but I think they should be up to the job.
I’m not planning any off road work
A muddy field will be the worst it has to deal with

With perm. 4x4 that's going to need some power
It'll be one very, very black line, with an LT230 🤣

All the power turns to smoke at the inside front wheel when accelerating on corners :( My Disco wears the front left twice as fast as all the other tyres, from lighting up when trying to pull out of side roads. 3 open diffs feeds all the power to the wheel with the least traction, unfortunately.

No viscous coupling or traction control on the Disco?

I guess limited slip diffs front and rear would help. Not sure how you'd manage the centre diff.
