Nearly had a heart attack when I saw a thread titled with my reg plate!! Cheers for the heads-up, Auf, I'll check it out when I'm finished work. :)

Only just seen the pic. :D The article on P170 was interesting too, as this is exactly what I'm planning on doing next year. Mega bonus given how local they are too! :clap2:

Well, being as I've now got my own thread, I may as well post my progress in here.

Fitted the new Allisport full width rad today:

But due to the extra width, came across a problem with the rad plug not lining up with the old rad frame top. Potential buyers take note:

Fitted the new DPH silicone coolant hoses, but came across a few design flaws that need to be ironed out before they go on sale to everyone else:

Now waiting to sort out a problem with Allisport regarding the uprated and relocated gearbox oil cooler. Brackets aren't wide enough and don't sit far back enough to allow the cooler to be offered up to where it'll sit without fouling the diagonal supports: :(

All these stumbling blocks have cost me a weekend at 1st Overland's new P&P site in Wales... Hey ho. :(

Have you sorted this one Mark? If not, drop it round, got a few descent sized HSS holesaws which will resolve that one in no time :)

See what you mean about the 45* angle now... does look a bit odd

If you look at the ones to the left, I've come in at the same level it'll sit at.
The one to the right I've come in under the chassis as per the old set-up, so the different approach angle compensates for the 45* difference.

More importantly, it saves me having to take off that wretched hose at the top of the gearbox again!
