Sorry but I was offering you help and I get a remark like that.
This is the must unfriendly forum I have been on with all the remarks I have been getting of late. ( posts in billy jean the Landy )
I'm not been funny I don't mind a bit of banter but you lot take it to a new level.

Ribbing is the norm here old chap - don't worry about it! :D

I'm driving to Suffolk on Thursday and will go past chelmsford on the A12, so if he's still stuck, I can stop off and retrieve the corpse. Keep me posted. :D

ribbing? I was merely pointing out ( in my inimitable lighthearted manner) that if he couldnt find the LZIR rescue thread on here, then his help trying to find a guy lost in Essex might be pushing it a bit .

I am sure his help, if asked for, would be of huge value, but to say that it was a ****ty reply  :faint2: I hope he aint got a freelander.

It certainly was a close thing.

No control on that surface, he nearly ended up down the deep side himself so we decided it was best to winch from the lane.

Full report on Essex lanes thread. :)

Well nice to meet you Ranger (plonker)
Good to see you again Brian, and a good joint effort by all
Made a change from sitting around scratching me nuts although now loads of mud in me motor

Was a bit luck as my winch packed up last week and i brought one sunday on Ebay and it turned up this morning, so got it fitted to day with some welding mods on me bumper, so was a good test for it, although had been playing with it this afternoon so knew it wasnt going to fail me

copy of what i posted on Essex lanes, and yes was very close a couple of times, thank god for trees and tree sliders :D
