You are correct. ..however given that the collective group that attended the site visit ALL got the date of Easter wrong ......it kind of forced a rethink

well I`ve read through all the posts more than once,
would love to come, but have a strange request from 110 women & co.
I need nightly leccie supply, or, every time I go to sleep, for my CPAP machine,
quite simply I cannot do without it.
got my own small gennie but would you like the noise of a gennie going all night on a camp field ?
do I need to PM 110 women on this?

There's a midnight curfew on gennies as part of the site conditions but there are lecky hookups on the main site over the hedge. I'm sure that it could be sorted with an extension lead to provide you a spark and camp with the rest of us.

I used to be a caravaner so knew "most" offered hook ups, but from the google map of the fields, thought we might be put away from the normal hard standings, so, back to original question..
not got a caravan now, and nailing in tent pegs on a hardstanding would need a hilti gun...
:doh:
could park landy on concrete, put the tent on the grass I suppose ..

As BB says a long lead through the hedge, if we get someone to recce the pitches and give an estimate of the length of cable needed and reserve you a pitch

I`ve got a roll of arctic "blue" cable I use doing diy - quite long..
but it all sounds bettera and beterera..
the worst way is I buy a propper orange long hook up cable and camping trip box outlet eh?

even if you pitched up next to a hookup you'd be right next door with a gate straight through to the site and you'd be amongst some of the biggest, poshest motorhome/trailers I've ever seen!A big bouncy castle is looking like a possibility.....your grandson might want a go as well
